What we collect
To make a book: your child's first name, age, the look you choose (skin tone, hair, glasses), the adventure, the things they love and the dedication, if you add them. We never ask for photos. When you order: your email address and, for printed books, your delivery address and phone number. Payment details are entered on our payment provider's page (PayPal or Stripe) and never reach us. We also record basic technical information, such as your approximate location from your IP address, your device and the page that sent you, to run and protect the site.
Why we use it
To write, illustrate, print and deliver your book, to answer your messages, to prevent abuse, and to measure which of our ads bring visitors. We do not sell your data, and we do not use your child's details for anything other than their book.
Who helps us
AI model providers write the story text and draw the illustrations from the details you enter. PayPal and Stripe process payments. Our print partner receives the print file of your book and your delivery address to print and ship it. Vercel hosts the site and stores the books. Google Analytics and Reddit Ads measure visits and ad results; when you order or reserve a book, Reddit receives a one-way hash of your email for that measurement. A private team chat receives order notifications so we can follow up.
How long we keep it
We keep your book so you can download it again or reorder it, until you ask us to delete it. We keep order and payment records for as long as the law requires for accounting.
Children
This website is for parents and other adults buying a book for a child. We do not knowingly collect information from children, and we ask only for the few details a story needs.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, including your child's book. Depending on where you live you may also have the right to object or to complain to a data protection authority.
