Headline rewriter for landing pages

Paste a URL and this tool reads your hero (the headline, the line under it and the main button), then rewrites all three for four kinds of visitor: someone arriving from search, from a social post, from Product Hunt and from Hacker News. Free, no account.

or try

No account. It reads your public page and shows text here; nothing on your site changes. A language model writes the versions, so check every fact.

What the headline rewriter does

It reads the hero of the page you paste: the first H1, the first real paragraph under it and the first button-like link. Then it writes four versions, one for each common way of arriving:

  • Search: leads with the problem or the outcome, in the words a person would type.
  • A social post: the thirty-second version for someone on a phone with no context.
  • Product Hunt: what is new, and who it is for.
  • Hacker News: the substance and the mechanism, with no superlatives.

A language model writes them using only the facts it finds on your page. If you paste the hero instead of a URL, those three lines are all it has to work with.

Why one headline is not enough

Someone who searched for their problem, someone who tapped a link in a thread and someone comparing launches want different first sentences. One headline written for all of them is written for none of them in particular.

That is the idea behind IntentGrid, which rewrites the whole page for each visitor as it loads. This tool shows the idea on your hero, once, as text you can copy.

What it cannot do

It rewrites the hero only, once, and it does not touch your live site. Copy the versions you like into your own code.

Models make things up. The prompt forbids inventing numbers, customers or features and it usually holds, but check every fact before you ship a line of it.

A site built in the browser sends an almost empty page. The tool then guesses the hero from the JavaScript bundle; if the guess is wrong, paste the three lines instead.

It runs on a shared daily budget. When that is spent you get fill-in templates instead of rewrites, and the result says so.

Questions

Is the headline rewriter free?

Yes, with no account. There is a limit per person per hour and a shared daily budget for the model calls. When the budget is spent the tool says so and shows fill-in templates instead.

Which language does it write in?

The language of your headline. The short note under each version is written in the language of this page.

Will it change my website?

No. It reads your public page and shows text here. Nothing is installed and nothing on your site changes.

How is this different from the IntentGrid demo?

The demo rewrites your whole page for you, the person reading it right now, and shows it in a sandbox. This tool rewrites only the hero, for four kinds of visitor, as text you can copy.
